The Melting Pot Brokerage Services is a Bahamas-based vehicle brokerage that helps reduce the stress of clearing vehicles from Customs and the Customs Storage Yard. We assist with the clearance process, vehicle pickup, local drop-off, Family Island boat delivery, and short-term vehicle storage, helping make the process smoother and more convenient.
What areas do you serve?
Our home base is Nassau, Bahamas. We assist with vehicle clearance and delivery to all Family Islands, anywhere ships transport vehicles. We also support customers shipping vehicles into or out of The Bahamas from international locations
What is included in the Customs Clearance Service?
Our Customs Clearance Service includes collecting your documents from the shipping line on your behalf and clearing your vehicle through Bahamas Customs. Once completed, you simply meet us to collect your vehicle, avoiding the need to visit the shipping line or manage the process yourself.

We assist Family Island customers by removing the need to travel to Nassau to clear their vehicle. We handle the customs clearance, help avoid long lines and delays, and deliver the vehicle directly to the boat of your choice. We can also safely store the vehicle until your sche

Yes! We pay all required customs fees on your behalf as part of our service. You will be reimbursed for the exact amount paid.
Vehicle Services
What is included in the Local Vehicle Drop-Off Service?
We understand it can be difficult to come into Nassau right away after your vehicle is cleared. Our Drop-Off Service provides same-day or next-day delivery within Nassau. We also offer short-term vehicle storage for customers who may need additional time to arrange pickup.
What is included in the Shipping Service?
We assist Family Island customers by removing the need to travel to Nassau to clear their vehicle. We handle the customs clearance, help avoid long lines and delays, and deliver the vehicle directly to the boat of your choice. We can also safely store the vehicle until your scheduled boat departure, making the process more convenient and less stressful.
What are the fees for your services?
Our service fees are as follows:
Customs Clearance Service: $175.00
Family Island Shipping & Clearance Service: $275.00
Customs Storage Yard Processing: additional $99.00 per vehicle
Nassau Drop-Off Service: $35.00
Vehicle Storage:
Family Island customers: $5.00 per day
Nassau customers: $7.00 per day
How long does it take to clear my vehicle?
In most cases, vehicles are cleared the same day once all required documents are provided and payments are completed within Customs operating hours. Timing may vary depending on port conditions and document readiness.
